2nd Maritime Security Conference
“Threats to Maritime Trade and Maritime Infrastructure”
The Foreign Affairs Institute (FAINST, www.fainst.eu), the Council for International Relations–Greece (CfIR-GR, www.cfir.gr) and the Propeller Club, in collaboration with the School of Maritime and Industrial Studies will convene the international 2nd Maritime Security Conference titled: “Threats to Maritime Trade and Maritime Infrastructure.”
The event will take place on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the EUGENIDES Foundation, Athens, GREECE.
The primary goal of the conference is to establish a high-level forum for the exchange of academic, operational, and institutional perspectives, ideas, and best practices related to Maritime Security, which—given both the magnitude of Greek shipping as well as the country’s maritime environment—serves as a pivotal factor in Greece’s international standing.
The Conference's sessions will be titled as follows:
Welcome Addresses
Session 1: Risks to maritime transport and global supply chains
Session 2: Risks to maritime Infrastructure
Session 3: Threats to maritime legal order
Session 4: Risks to Greek maritime industry
Session 5: Geopolitical and technological trends influencing maritime security
