The Unit of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Employment and Career Office (DASTA) of Democritus University of Thrace, in cooperation with the Business School of Nottingham Trent University, UK, organise the 2017, 4th International Entrepreneurship Summer School.
The 4th International Entrepreneurship Summer School provides you the opportunity to develop your international business skills and experience the challenge of scaling up a start to an international level.
The scope of the 4th International Entrepreneurship Summer School is to develop skills and insight on how to take a startup at an international level doing market research, assessing the conditions of international markets and using tools and techniques to design strategies on how to go global.
During the Summer School selected start ups, will assign a real internationalisation project challenge to teams. Approximately 90 students from the Nottingham Trent University, UK, and 30 students from other countries including Greece are expected to participate to this year Summer School. Mentors will be matched to each team to help them think possible internationalisation strategies, evaluate market conditions and decide upon which strategy to choose.
Why attend this programme?
• During this International Entrepreneurship Summer School you will have the opportunity to meet with other international students and explore the international business environment working with peers from across the globe in teams while experiencing international business in a practical format.
• Your team will be assigned an experienced a mentor who will help you test the feasibility of your internationalisation strategy through active international market research in the proposed market.
• The combination of practical and academic classes from guest lecturers and successful entrepreneurs will enhance your entrepreneurship skillset and your ability to recognise and pursue business opportunities.
• You will learn what it takes to be an international entrepreneur or/ and an intrapreneur.

Channels to market - international marketing strategy design
