Aegean Messinia Pro – Am 2024

The Pro-Am package for amateurs includes:

• 5- or 7-nights BB accommodation at the The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort - Costa Navarino
• 3 Pro-Am rounds (The Dunes Course /The Hills Course/ International Olympic Academy Golf Course). 
• Official practice round (2 practice rounds).
• Bus transfers (Kalamata airport to/from hotel - transfers to/from The Dunes Course, to/from the Hills Course and to/from International Olympic Academy Golf Course).
• Golf balls for practice.
• Shared buggies for all rounds of the Pro-Am
• On-course refreshments and snacks for 4 tournament rounds (official practice day and 3 Pro-Am rounds).       Welcome pack with gifts.
• Welcome reception, 20/11/2024
• Social event, 22/11/2024
• Gala dinner & Prize giving Ceremony, 23/11/2024
• Lottery ticket for Gala
• Player’s liability and bodily injury insurance on the golf courses
• Taxes

Not included in any package:

• Flights and others means of transport
• Extras at the hotel and its facilities

Professionals:

• PGA professionals do not pay any package fee in a team of 3 amateurs.
• Complimentary flights from any destination covered by Aegean Airlines’ network.
• No extras covered.
• Accompanying person fee of €327.00 applies for 3 dinners and participation in the 3 social events, as well as €80.00  room supplement per day. No flights and no green fee services are covered for accompanying people.

Registration / Participation Policy:

• Final deadline for entries is September 30th, 2024.
• Entries will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Places are limited to 70 teams.
• A team entry is considered valid only after full payment of the amateurs’ Pro-Am package fees.
• Amateurs are required to provide their exact handicap on the entry form at the time of entry and MUST provide an up-to-date handicap certificate one week prior to the tournament or at the registration desk of the event. Failure to do so will result in the player playing off scratch for the duration of the tournament.
• All prize winners will be required to provide current proof of handicap before their teams are presented with their prizes.  The WHS handicap and  slope system will apply to the tournament and each amateur will play from the applicable sloped handicap.

• The "2024 Aegean Messinia Pro-Am” is open to all PGA Members and trainees as recognized by their respective National PGA. A limited number of exemptions may be considered provided that the Professional is a member in good standing of an organization that is considered a Professional Member of the International Golf Federation. Any doubts as to eligibility will be decided by the Confederation of Professional Golf (CPG) Board of Directors whose decision will be final.

Payment & Cancellation Policy:

• You may pay for the Aegean Messinia Pro-Am 2024 package fees and any other arrangements by credit card or bank transfer.
• Upon submission of this Team Registration Form and in any case no later than three (3) working days therefrom, all three amateur participants are required to pay 100% of the respective Pro-Am package fees in order to be able to reserve a place within the 70 teams.
• Lack of any amateur fee will not confirm a place within the 70 teams.
• Once payment of the Pro-Am package fees has been received, the registration of your team will be confirmed.
• For cancellations received up to 20th August 2024: 50% of the respective Pro-Am package fees will be applied.
• For cancellations received from 21st August 2024 up to 20th October 2024: 80% of the respective Pro-Am package fees will be applied.
• For cancellations received from 21st October 2024 onwards or in case of non-show or early departures 2024: 100% of the  respective Pro-Am package fees will be applied.
• Substitute competitors will be accepted upon written application until September 30th 2024, provided that they submit a Registration Form, filled in, for the replacing participant. In such case, any paid Pro -Am package fee will be retained and applied in favor of the substitute competitor, unless the later performs a new payment. After September 30th 2024, substitutions could be approved and made by the CPG. No refunds will be made upon failure of proof by the amateur of the current handicap certificate at the Championship Office prior to Round 1 of the Pro-Am.
