Agile Actors
UX Design in Agile Workshop
Integrating Agile and UX design
How can a UXer nowadays work his/her way into the Agile world?
As things move forward in product development, Agile has become the most popular software-development methodology. In this workshop, we will learn how to integrate Agile and UX design, by evolving the process of digital product creation.
But first things first; what is Agile methodology and what’s in it for us?
We will understand the Agile world (scrum, MVP, product backlog, user stories, sprints, scrum events, roles, etc) and deconstruct its principles in order to embrace what lies beneath. Lampros, one of our most experienced Delivery Leads, will join us for hands on agile practices and fruitful debates.
And what about User Experience Design (UXD)?
How can we use UX tools & methods optimised for Agile development? There is no playbook, but what we have in our Sport Billy bag is a set of tools, artefacts and practices that will help us integrate UX into the Agile world.
And then there is also Business.
You will learn how to excel in whiteboarding (not sketching, we’ll explain) and product envisioning before user stories, while being open to different perspectives and iterative problem-solving. We will also identify all these external factors - mainly strategic and organisational - that a UXer can moderately control and we will brainstorm together on an action plan through a group coaching session.
And when it’s time to call it a day, you will be in the position of feeling confident when being part of a Scrum team or interacting from various roles within an organisation applying Agile practices.
So, get ready for hands-on experience through co-working, interesting debates with the “dark side” and a little bit of coaching.
