Fashion Open Studio

Fashion Open Studio is a Fashion Revolution initiative that started in 2017 to promote the movement that honours sustainability and human rights. A FOS event includes a series of sessions and suggests an alternative industry agenda that prioritises people and transparency, and casts light on the procedures behind the production of fashion collections. In that framework, designers open the doors of their studios and share intimate, original fashion and human stories, which may appeal to both consumers and creators. They also go behind the scenes to introduce people and methods involved in the production of their pieces.

Event Agenda

The first Greek Fashion Open Studio in collaboration with haute couture house Maison Faliakos includes:

1) A live workshop on Upcycling Couture, a live demonstration of how an old garment can be brought back to life using upcycling methods

2) Inspirational talks from Maison Faliakos friends and iconic women, who share their personal upcycling couture stories

3) A tribute to the partners and employees at Maison Faliakos, aiming to answer the questions Who made my clothes? and What's in my clothes? posed by the Fashion Revolution movement
