About the 2nd International Logistics Forum: In a constantly and rapidly changing business environment due to 4th industrial revolution “Industry 4.0”, Logistics constitute an important pillar, ensuring innovation, development of human resource skills and strengthening the competitiveness of investments.
The 2nd International Logistics Forum in Athens is organized by ILME in collaboration with Geo Routes Cultural Institute, and it held under the auspices of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Athens. Leading international speakers from different industries will share trends, best practices, innovations and new business models, in which Logistics play significant role for value creation in investments together with standardization and the development of the human resources.
The Venue “Cotsen Hall @ Gennadius Library: is one of the most important libraries in Greece which belongs to the American School of Classical Studies of Athens. It houses over 110,000 volumes from the Greek history, literature and art from Antiquity until modern times. A dedicated neoclassical building was built, with the financial support from the Carnegie Corporation, to host the 26,000 volumes donated by Gennadius. The building was designed by the New York firm of Van Pelt and Thompson, in the style of a classical temple with gardens. The library opened on 23 April 1926 and was named in honor of Gennadius' father, George Gennadius (1786–1854).
