5th IBIA Africa Energy and Shipping Conference

The 5th IBIA Africa Energy and Shipping Conference presents a specialized one-day bunker training event, tailored to the African bunker sector. This premier course offers participants a thorough understanding of the bunker market, covering various subjects such as commercial and legal aspects, the roles of different stakeholders, contracts, sales terms, and types of claims. The training also delves into fuel quality and management, addressing standards like ISO 8217 and ISO 4259, as well as best practices for VLSFO and other fuels. Additionally, the course covers MARPOL Annex VI, the 2020 sulphur limit, and upcoming regulations in detail. This intensive, full-day training (9am-5pm) features real-world case studies and hands-on exercises to reinforce key concepts.

Upon completing the course, attendees will be awarded the 'IBIA Certificate of Attendance.'
