The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) is organizing the second event of the monthly series
DIALOGUES: Surrounded by the Holiday Spirit
As we are fast approaching the holiday season, the SNF is holding a discussion on the impact the holidays are having on us, the importance of giving, and the significance of truly feeling close to one another. The event is held at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, in Athens, Greece, and is livestreamed on the SNF’s website at SNF.org/live.
His Eminence Metropolitan Bishop Nikolaos of the Holy Metropolis of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki and chef Alexandros Papandreou discuss the change that they see occurring around them during the holiday season, as well as the impact it may have on people, faith, expression, and creativity.
The Greek street paper Shedia will also be present at the event, with the participation in the discussion of its salesperson, Michalis Samolis.
The Children’s Choir of the Greek National Opera will perform traditional carols.
The event will be livestreamed through the SNF’s website at SNF.org/live.
The recording of the event will also be available on demand in both video and podcast format on the SNF’s website.
Through the monthly series of live events, entitled DIALOGUES, the SNF presents, among others, individuals who inspire through their work and actions and hopes to catalyze conversations around critical issues, across the globe.
