The SNF Internship Program involves interns in many different areas that relate to the Foundation’s overall activities, and engages them as an integral part of the organization, allowing them to learn and acquire various skills through their participation in the Foundation’s daily work that also includes complex projects such as SNF’s Health Initiative and the SNF Nostos summer festival. The SNF aims to empower interns through these internships to develop new skills, think collaboratively and creatively, and to have ownership of their work and projects.
The internship program is divided into two periods: Summer (May –August) or Winter (October – February). Positions are available in the Foundation’s office in Athens in all of our departments (see details below) as well as at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). The internships at the SNFCC involve opportunities at the SNFCC AE, Greek National Opera (GNO) and National Library of Greece (NLG).
Please refer to the Internship Job Descriptions for further details.
Please note that as an exception the summer period will last for 3 months and will not offer positions at the SNFCC AE, the Greek National Opera and the National Library of Greece. These positions will begin in October, 2022 when the SNF Internship program will be fully rolled out.
Candidates cannot apply for more than one position and for more than one internship period. All travel and accommodation expenses as well as potential work permit and visa logistics are the responsibility of the intern.
