Our skin is an encounter and interaction place in-between ourselves and everything around us. It is our window of contact with anything outside of us and only through this encounter we can get to know ourselves. Because of the skin and through it, our whole body can listen, receive stimuli, and inform us about where and how we are doing, how we move in space, how we feel and what we think.

In what ways do I touch?
How I accept the touch?
How does the touch or its absence affect me?
Do I allow what is happening around me to “touch” me?
Focusing on the Now of touch, we will discover that as a physical experience, Touch enriches our mental and spiritual dimension.

In this two-hour experiential workshop, we will discuss the developmental, relational, and social dimension of touch and we will explore through specific exercises and improvisations the experience of Touch, as a way of communicating with the world, as a collective memory, as desire and creation.

Design-Implementation: Exarmenia Pappa, Psychologist (NKUA), MSc Mental Health Studies, Psychotherapist, Trainer and Gestalt trainee Supervisor, Member of EAGT & HAGT, PgCert Gestalt Body Process (Trained by James Kepner), Certificate in Performance Studies in Dance (Birkbeck College Lon-don). She has been working as a psychologist - psychotherapist since 2003 in the field of men-tal health and counseling in the community, as well as in her private office. She currently works privately, as a psychotherapist and coordinates groups and workshops that combine movement, dance, and Gestalt psychotherapy as well as training workshops for Gestalt therapists. She is particularly interested in discovering new approaches to dance and movement and studying how they can be integrated into the healing process.

According to the latest measures to protect public health from the risk of spreading COVID-19, a valid vaccination certificate or a disease certificate, is required for the public to enter the event venue, as the venue operates as a pure venue. The above applies to adults. Μinors from 4 to 17 years old may, alternatively, submit a statement of negative self-diagnosis (self test) of the last twenty-four hours, a certificate of PCR (72 hours) or rapid (48 hours) diagnostic test, in accordance with the recent government measures.

The use of face mask and social distancing measures are mandatory in indoor and outdoor areas of the SNFCC, in accordance with Hellenic National Public Health Organization regulations.

A parallel identity check will be carried out on the persons who show the required certificates, as provided by law.

Due to public health measures, there may be changes regarding either the staging of the event, or the maximum number of participants.
