AmChamGR announces Thessaloniki Future Thinking Dialogues 2024 under the title: Urban Resilience for Future-Ready Cities, to be held on November 22 at the MET Hotel.
TFTD is an institutional event the Chamber initiated successfully in 2021, serving as a platform of open discussion, dialogue and exchange of views and proposals on vital issues concerning business, economic and educational ecosystems through an innovative but fundamental approach with a look to the future and what it holds for us.
With the world standing at the forefront of a rapidly evolving urban landscape, the conference focuses on the multifaceted aspects of city formation, planning, contemporary design, information technology and governance, to create a sustainable, livable and technologically advanced urban environment. By encompassing a diverse array of disciplines, the event transcends traditional boundaries and aims to facilitate a holistic and integrated approach to city formation, planning and design.
As a significant number of development projects seek to reshape the Thessaloniki urban environment, TFTD will highlight opportunities and challenges for city formation considering factors such as sustainability, infrastructure development, land use, transportation systems, environmental considerations and community engagement.
The event is expected to attract several hundred key stakeholders from across the innovation, technology and education, value chains, business leaders, central and local government decision makers, academics, and researchers, as well as students and young people.
